Department of Psychology
The Department of Psychology was established in 1964 at general level as a subject in the arena of SSVPS’S Arts and Commerce College. In 1980 Psychology as a subject achieved special level and from June 2007 Department initiated Post Graduation in Psychology on Permanent non-grant basis.
Department has excellent and functioning laboratory and cubicles with sufficient Psychological Apparatus and Tests. The faculty members play significant role in teaching, consultancy and research at College as well as University level. The Department enthusiastically carries curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Moreover, the research work is always encouraged by departmental faculty members as a perennial activity.
The Department of Psychology runs counseling center for students and needy people from society .The faculty members extend their consultancy to students and People who require psychological support and help.
