PROCEDURE AND POLICIES FOR MAINTAINING AND UTILIIZING PHYSICAL, ACADEMIC AND SUPPORT FACILITIES – LABORATORY, LIBRARY, SPORTS, COMPUTERS AND CLASSROOM

The Management of the college has formed the College Development Committee (CDC) that oversees the maintenance of the campus. The College Development Committee ensures optimal allocation and utilization of the available financial resources for maintenance different facilities by holding regular meetings of various committees constituted for this purpose and using the grants received the college as per the requirements in the interest of students. The Management of Institutions and College Development Committee has given the authority to the Principal.

  • The development section maintains the infrastructure facilities headed by the Principal. Out sourcing team of electrician, plumbers, carpenters and other personnel provide the service to the departments.
  • Every Department Head is assigned to oversee the laboratories, equipments, library and departmental infrastructure etc.
  • Periodic reporting on requirements of repairs and maintenance are submitted by Head of Department after approval from the Principal to the college Registrar. The requirements are collectively processed in every Semester break so as to keep things ready for the new Semester.
  • To maintain the campus infrastructure facilities and equipments, following activities are taken by the college.
  • Laboratory: Record of maintenance account is maintained by lab Incharge and supervised by the concerned department.

Library:-

  1. The requirement and list of books is taken from the concerned departments and HOD’s are involved in the process. The finalized list of required books is duly approved and signed by the Principal.
  2. Suggestion box is installed inside the reading room to take users Their continuous feedback helps a lot in introducing new ideas regarding library enrichment.
  3. To ensure return of books, ‘no dues’ from the library is mandatory for students before appearing in exam.
  4. Other issues such as weeding out of old titles, schedule of issue/ return of books etc. are chalked out / resolved by the library
  • Regarding the maintenance of sports equipment the college sports in charge is the Director of Physical Education is responsible to maintain the grounds and sports equipment. The non teaching staff is appointed for the department.
